In a 10 team league my personnel is:
QB: Vick, Tebow
RB: Forte, Stephen Jackson, Frank Gore, Jahvid Best, Moreno
WR: Mike Wallace, Roddy White, Dez Bryant, Mario Manningham
TE: Brandon Pettigrew, Kellen Winslow
K: Neil Rackers
Def: varies by week usually, right now Dallas (for the seahawks matchup)
QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF format.
In this format, I will always have what I call, a "good player" on my bench.I feel I have 6 good players to fill 5 spots.Should I try and package two of them to get a better player such as Calvin Johnson or Ray Rice (already tried for Peterson, Arian Foster, and McCoy) or should I sit one weekly and play the matchups/ be prepared for an injury?
I am not a fan of Gore at all but he seems to be playing good football.I also am not a fan of Jahvid Best, but I also didnt consider him to be a good player in my thinking.
Lastly, I know that I am week at backup qb in case Vick got hurt, but there are currently some suitable qbs on the waiver wire that could be added in an emergency.
So, the question is… Attempt a trade to add a "better" player, or make my team a committee team based on matchups and injuries?

I have a similar problem in my league too. Your year is probably going pretty good.
I like having talent spill on my bench, much more protected in case of injuries (Best, Bryant).
The only change I would try would be going after a better WR. Find that guy that has WR, but not RB depth and offer him Gore for a WR1, or heck even Gore and Moreno(since you never really want to use him) to seal the deal maybe.
