Is it unethical to lose on purpose at fantasy football?

Mark D Asked: Is it unethical to lose on purpose at fantasy football?

I'm in a dynasty league and I have mathematically missed the play-offs so there is no gain from winning anymore games. I'm currently 2nd bottom so 2nd overall pick at least if I lose the remainder of my games. I have been losing a lot anyway due to IR and other injuries but would it be wrong to go all out for the loss by starting injured players etc.

No because you have no chance so you'll have a better team next year.

I have been screwed by injuries the past couple of seasons..But I still play my best unless I'm fed up with how the league is ran (i.e. scoring and trades allowed/denied).Either way, it's a good way to be a nuissance and throw the balance of the league off. ;o)

in our league we have the last place loser pays 30.00 buks to get back in our league, but he gets the # 1 pick. It got pathetic when we go closer to the playoffs and people would just give up because they had a losing season. however back to your question if the league.Id put your best players with the hardest matchups so you don't look like a sucker and will still lose
