No, I think the fact millions still plan on voting for Obama as proof of the lack of any decent candidates coming out of the Republican Party.

Mitt Romney should just give it up. How many times does he need to lose to realize he shouldn't keep wasting his money and his family's time?

Also, it shows a lack of common sense in regards to world economies, globalization etc if anyone thinks that having a new president (ANYONE from ANY party) would change the status quo. America's economy and unemployment is in the pits simply because bad financial decisions were made that got America to this point. You can't create jobs out of thin air. You also should let dying companies die (ie: Chevy and some of the banks) because putting a band-aid on a gusher does nothing. Economic recovery is going to take well over a decade – new president or not.

As for empty promises…they're better than shitty legislation. No Child Left Behind has left more children behind than before it was put in – Thanks Bush! I wish his wife conked him on the head before he introduced that piece of garbage that has made the education system worse than it already was.

Well the Republicans decided to trash Ron Paul the only one worth voting for in the Republican Party. If he wins the primaries the whole entire thing will change and Obama will lose his popularity. If Ron Paul loses the primaries the McCain defeat in 2008 will be nothing compared to the defeat of the Republican Party in 2012.

The Republican party will be in dire straights from now on. Ron Paul is the only credible Republican that everyone trusts. Kicking him to the curve trashing the OWS movement which was not leftist was the worse mistake the Republicans could ever do. Attacking people and and middle class pretty much sealed the deal with the Republicans.
