Asked: What do you think about Carson Palmer this season?

Like every year, when Fantasy Football season come around,me and just about everyone else tries to figure out who is the next sleeper. Sometimes, its a old player who will return to glory or a late round rookie with little expectations. Well, this year Ive decided to go with veteran QB Carson Palmer. Many fantasy football fans might remember Carson from 05 to 07 when he was one of the games elite passers.Of course,in Fantasy football its all aboutthe what have you done for me lately kind of attitude, so Palmer is likely to be onanyones draft boards.Hes had quite a few injuries in his 10 year career that have derailed possible greatness but hes still a very capable and talented Quarterback. I know, Carson hasnt exactly won a lot of games as of late, but this is fantasy football not reality.I sat back and crunched some numbers to see how exactly Carson has preformed on average his last few years. If you look at his 3 full seasons (not counting 08) and then average out last seasons 9 starts for 16 games, then his average would something like this:

Passing Yards: 3899
Total TDs:24

To me, it would reasonable to think, now that Carson is 3 years removed from his injury and is fully healed, plus he will have a full off season with the Raiders, you can basically pencil in Carson for around 4000 yards and 25+ TDs. Also, Darren McFadden never got to play one snap with Carson at the helm. With McFadden at 100%, defenses will have to respect the run game and that will give Carsonmore deep shots. Now to the bad thingsAs many people know, Carson can be quite the gunslinger at times. Last season, he accounted for 13 INTs in his 9 starts. Thats not good, but still keep in mind he was coming off the couch.The turnover bug got him In 2007 and in 2010 as well when he threw for 20 INTs in each. So it would be no surprise to see him toss over 15 this season. With that being said, my forecast for the former Heisman Trophy is:

Passing Yards: 4089
Passing Tds: 27
INTs: 18

If those numbers come to pass, thatd make him a very valuable QB on any team. In some real deep leagues, that could be good enough to even start. Now dont get me wrong, im not saying go out and get him to be your starter, but he could be a great flex if you werent able get any of the heavy hitters. So long story short, dont skip up on the 2-time Pro Blower, hell prove hes got gas left in the tank.

Qb's Peyton manning,Mark Sanchez, Josh freeman (we have a IR roster spot so i have Peyton on that so it doesn't take up any of my other players spots on my bench)

Rb's Ray Rice,Fred Jackson,Steven Ridley,Jackie Battle ( I also had Jamaal Charles but with the season ending injury i dropped him and was shocked at how good Jackson is and am soo happy i didn't trade him in the beginning of the season.

I play with my friends in the league and i once again have losing Peyton and Charles i am still shocked that i am tied for the best record in the league. 1 out of 10 what are my chances with the team i have to win the whole thing? I really want to win because the winner gets a trophy that's like a foot 1/2 tall
